Hello Friends & Family
Bob and I wish to say thank you so much for visiting our table during March Missions Month at Calvary Chapel Aurora. We were so blessed by your words of encouragement and prayers. We also want to say thank you to those who also gave in support for this ministry. Please know that everything you have given has been used to help those who have been affected by hurricane Harvey 7 months ago.
During our time at home we sold both of the businesses that we were in the process of selling before we left. It was very cool to see how the Lord had His hand upon everything and also showed us that it is all in His timing. The sale of both have given us a closure for that season of our lives. We are so thankful for all that each business has provided for our family and for the families that we had working with us.

We have returned to Texas on the 16th, the trip back took two days because we drove with a trailer packed with items for us during our time here. We will be continuing our work with Steve & Maryann the couple’s home we roofed, dry walled and will help with putting up cabinets, painting and flooring. We also will be helping a great family of 5 finish out the rebuild of their home in Rockport Texas. This area was hit with the eye of the hurricane and also another tornado 6 days ago. Their names are Abby & Abe, they have 3 children and are living in their home as the construction continues. They are a very sweet family and we were so excited to get back here to be able to help them finish up and get them settled back to a new norm.

We are also helping a family of 6 with not only labor but also materials and supplies, they have managed to rebuild by using 1/2 of their home that was not destroyed from the winds and tornado’s. They did sustain water damage and required a new roof which we have been able to supply we also have had 2 teams out to their home and help with yard clean up and we will continue to supply materials and labor to finish up the home with dry wall, siding, a new bathroom and flooring also some furniture for the family Tim & Gen are such an awesome couple that they dress alike with the same color. Dave’s team from Tustin CA was able to share with them and a women in the home behind theirs. It was a 2 for 1 day in ministry.

There have been other families that we have been able to serve and take supplies to them. The greatest moments are not only being able to help out, but we are able to pray with them and share either a bible study with them or attend church with them. It is amazing to see how the Lord has not only made our lives rich with his blessings since we have stepped out in faith full time but also to those who we have befriended while we have been here. God continues to show Himself faithful everyday we are here and back at home in Colorado with our girls.

Please be in prayer with us for Steve & Maryann’s marriage to be on the mend to come back to the Lord. For those who are still displaced and seeking relief from the red tape that keeps them from being in their homes and being able to repair their homes. For the families that we are helping to be the light and seed to bring them also back to the Lord in this new season of recovery. For Bob and I as we finish closing out the sales that we finish strong and are able to cover any debit that comes along with this transaction. We also are praying and seeking the Lord’s desire for where we are to go next and to keep us focused on His vision for us and the ministry as we grow into the new season of our lives.

In closing this verse I wish to share with you, it has been on my heart and also on a rebuild wall; Ephesians 2:19-22
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
